The benefit of proofing identified areas in reports is the control and reduction of pest-favored
harborage, breeding, and entry points. By controlling and reducing pest activity within these
areas, it helps maintain a controlled environment on your premises.
Due to the severity of the pest infestation on your premises, you have chosen a treatment
involving insecticides. Insecticides, also known as pesticides, are substances designed to
eliminate insect pests by exerting a toxic (poisonous) effect that interferes with specific life
processes within the insect. However, it’s important to note that they can pose adverse
reactions, particularly in sensitive individuals. To ensure your safety, it is crucial for you to
understand and strictly adhere to all the safety protocols outlined below.
Ensure all food items are removed or sealed, and utensils covered. Cover plastic items like
stereos and computers, as well as leather goods such as sofas and chairs. Evacuate all
individuals, pets, and plants before treatment. If aquarium relocation isn’t possible, cover with
impermeable film and turn off the pump. Turn off naked lights and gas pilot lights. Seal the area
by closing doors and windows, and switch off fans and air-conditioning. Inform personnel
about the treatment, advising those with asthma or sensitivities to avoid the premises for 24
hours. MSDS available upon request. Open all cupboards and notify the Fire Brigade if fire
detection systems are installed
The premises must undergo thorough ventilation before occupant’s re-enter or the structure is
reused. All doors, windows, and ventilators should be opened, allowing for at least thirty (30)
minutes of thorough ventilation. Air-conditioners must be switched on in open vent mode and
left in this mode for the remainder of the day to bring in fresh outside air. For large structures
like a Grain Silo, longer ventilation periods may be necessary, potentially requiring forced air
ventilation, such as powered fans.
I acknowledge that I have received and understood the above procedures and agree to adhere
to the treatment requirements. I understand that any issues resulting from my failure to follow
this advice is my responsibility.
